The cost of this service varies depending upon the size and age of property concerned and the level of information which you require.

Homebuyer Report and Valuation

This is a concise report and valuation produced on a format created by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. It provides a brief survey aimed at highlighting major defects or matters requiring further investigation in order to give a purchaser an opinion as to the suitability of a given residential property for purchase at an agreed price. Given its brevity, the Homebuyer Report is not suitable for older properties, non-conventional construction or where there is considerable disrepair.

The fee for this service starts from £450.00 plus VAT.

Building Survey

This is a survey suitable for almost all properties and can be adapted to suit individual needs. Photographs are provided to illustrate the text and constructional detail. Defects and recommended remedial works can be considered and discussed in detail. Unlike the Homebuyer Report, a valuation and insurance valuation are not normally included but can be arranged, on request.

The cost for this service ranges upwards from £600.00 plus VAT.
